I apologize for my recent absense from the blog.  It was not for lack of news in the wonderful Union and Baker Counties, but rather due to the number of great events taking place as we start to wrap up summer.  In the coming week, I will post a re-cap of the last many events, hopefully giving you all something to look forward to next year.

Elgin Stampede

Beginning Wednesday, July 9th, and running through Sunday, July 13th, is the annual Elgin Stampede & PRCA Rodeo.

The PRCA Rodeo, parade, carnival, and horse racing await you in the community of Elgin. Watch as real cowboys compete for top prizes, and gasp as you witness the amazing “Stampede Challenge” horse race. Great food and live entertainment are also on hand during this rough & tough weekend event.
